The problems of congestion when receiving patients and in post-reception management have been solved by the development of a system (pharmacy queuing management system) that issues a reception number to each patient and calls up that number when preparation of the medicine for that patient has been completed.
However, since patients have to wait for their medication in the waiting rooms of hospitals and dispensing pharmacies, congestion is unavoidable. Patients worry about infection and are stressed about not being able to use their waiting time effectively. To improve service, functionality is required by which the patient can monitor call-up information from outside the facility.
Patients need a system and tools that allow them to check their medication preparation status from outside of the medical facility.
When linking personal information such as e-mail addresses and dedicated accounts, that personal information has to be managed.
The Pad-Number Cloud medication preparation status check service is a system that works with the i-Number pharmacy queuing management system. It prints a QR code on a ticket, which is given to the patient, allowing them to check the medication preparation status on their smartphone or mobile phone.
By working in collaboration with the i-Number system, the Pad-Number Cloud system links each reception number with a patient and issues each patient a printed ticket with a QR code.By accessing the system, patients are able to check the preparation status of their medication even from outside the facility.Since the system uses general-purpose QR code readers and browsers, it is easy to use without any patient registration work.
The only information included in the QR code is the date, ticket number, and facility code (facility phone number).
Since there is no management of personal information, information leaks are not a concern.
The system allows flexibility in terms of where to wait for one’s medication and when to pick it up,thus helping prevent infection and reducing waiting time stress for patients.
